# Clone container

`POST /containers/clone`

Clone container with a specific tag filter

## Request body

- object
  - `container_repo_id` integer, required: The ID of the container repo
  - `tag_filter` integer, required: The tag filter you want to apply to the container. You can use wildcards with the asterisk char (*). Use 'semver-production' for filtering on semver compliant tags. To reset the tag filter, you can pass 'null'.

## Response `200`

The the container has been cloned.

  - `container_repo_id` integer: The id 1 of the newly cloned container
