# Ignore a code quality finding

Ignores an open code quality finding. Use the finding id returned by the repo-findings list endpoint.

## Path parameters

- `finding_id` integer, required

  - `reason` string: A reason for ignoring the finding

## Response `200`

The finding has been ignored

  - `status` string, required

## Other responses

- `400`: The provided finding ID is invalid
- `404`: The provided finding ID does not exist
- `422`: The finding is not open, or the reason is invalid
