# Request a hardened image

`POST /autofix/aikido-images/request`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.aikido.dev/api/public/v1`

  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://app.aikido.io/api/oauth/token` scopes: `autofix:write`

Request that a specific image tag be secured. The request is recorded and does not trigger an immediate rebuild.

## Request body

- object
  - `image_name` string, required: The image repository, for example node or python.
  - `image_tag` string, required: The image tag, for example 22 or 3.12-slim.
  - `urgency` 'critical' | 'high' | 'medium' | 'low', required: How urgently the image is needed.

## Response `200`

The image request was accepted.

  - `success` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400`: The image request could not be accepted.
