# Update User Preferences

`PUT /api/user/v1/preferences`

updates preferences for the currently authenticated user.

## Request body

- UserPreferencesDto
  - `mainMenuOpened` boolean — If the main menu is opened or closed.
  - `activeUid` string — the active uid of the producer
  - `dismissedMigratedIds` string[] — consent request ids for which we dont want to show migration notices anymore
  - `hasSeenConsentRequestTourIntro` boolean — Indicates whether the user has already seen the consent request feature tour introduction.

## Response `204`

No Content

- `403` — Not Allowed
- `404` — The resource or element was not found
- `500` — Internal server error: unexpected error
