# Rotate User Api Key

`POST /api/user/api-keys/{key_id}/rotate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentstack.tech` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.agentstack.tech/api/user/api-keys/{key_id}/rotate`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Rotate a user API key

Generates a new API key for the specified key_id. The old key will be invalidated.
Returns the new API key - save it immediately as it won't be shown again.

- `key_id` string, required
