# Dm Thread Get

`GET /api/social/dm/thread`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentstack.tech` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.agentstack.tech/api/social/dm/thread`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Merged DM thread from both participants' ``social_dm.outbox`` (peer gated by chat_index).

## Query parameters

- `home_project_id` integer
- `channel_id` string
- `since_seq` integer, nullable: Return only messages with seq greater than this (delta / catch-up).
- `before_seq` integer, nullable: Exclusive upper bound on ``seq`` — combine with ``limit`` to walk older pages of the thread (Phase 1 async pagination).
- `limit` integer, nullable: Tail-window size (newest N). When set the response includes ``has_more`` and ``next_cursor`` for cursor pagination.
- `since_hlc` string, nullable: When set, return rows with HLC greater than this wire-HLC (base36); takes precedence over since_seq.
