Full persisted sidebar list for the user (no server-side truncation).

Older threads can still **drop out of the client UI** when a device sends a capped
``PUT`` (subset semantics) or when ``GET /initial-snapshot`` is used — that endpoint
intentionally returns only ``limit_channels`` rows sorted by activity (see its docstring).
