# Open a teammate's thread

`POST /threads/joinable`

## Request

Open a thread someone else started, by the rule the web's session link follows. An owner or a member of its workspace gets a thread of their own on that session (`playgroundId`, `columnId`); someone it was only shared with to read gets `readOnly` with the session to read.
