# Continue a local chat in the cloud

`POST /threads/continue`

## Request

Continue a chat that ran on the caller's computer (Claude Code or Codex) as a cloud thread of its own. `native.archive` (base64) resumes the same harness's session from its checkpoint; `transcript` (`{path, sha256, bytes}`) starts any agent knowing where the transcript will be put. 409 `continue_pending` means ask again with the same body.
