# Make a skill always available, or stop \[write\]

`PATCH /skills/{skillId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1`
- URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1/skills/{skillId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

With `attachByDefault: true`, every session created in the workspace from then on is provisioned with the skill's latest revision, unless the session is created with `defaults: "none"`. Sessions of agents that cannot take skills start without it.
