# Download a file from the session's workspace \[read\]

`GET /sessions/{id}/workspace/files/content`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1`
- URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1/sessions/{id}/workspace/files/content`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the raw file bytes as an attachment. Limited to 1 MB. Binary files are supported. Content-Type is inferred from the file extension. Returns 400 not_a_file for directories, 413 file_too_large when over the cap, 403 path_escape for symlink escapes, 409 session_parked when the pod is not running.
