# Download a local handoff's workspace \[read\]

`GET /session-handoffs/{id}/workspace`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

The sandbox's workspace as a gzipped tar, for a completed local handoff that carried it, to its owner only. 404 `workspace_not_carried` when it was not copied; 409 `handoff_not_ready` until it completes.
