# Start a run through the routine's inbound URL

`POST /routines/inbound/{token}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1`

- Auth: none required

No Authorization header: the secret in the path is the credential. The request body, in any format and up to 50,000 characters, is added to the run's first message under the label "Input for this run:"; an empty body starts a run with no input. An `Idempotency-Key` header makes a repeated delivery return the first run. A paused routine answers 409 and starts nothing, an unknown URL or an archived routine answers 404, and more than 30 runs of one routine in a minute answers 429. The run is a task of the routine's owner (trigger_context {type:"api"}).
