# Delete a routine — it never fires again and is no longer listed \[write\]

`DELETE /routines/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1`
- URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1/routines/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The routine is archived (no schedule, inbound URL or chat trigger fires it) and every read of it, its runs included, answers 404 from then on, so a second delete is 404 too. The sessions its runs started are kept. To stop a routine and keep it listed, archive it instead.

## Path parameters
