# Verify a live folder mount before starting agents \[read\]

`POST /desktop/mounts/{id}/verify`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Confirms that the mount id and capability URL still name the same live folder owned by this account in the token's universe, or the account's personal universe when the token is unscoped. A stale, revoked, foreign-universe or mismatched mount answers 404.

- DesktopMountVerifyRequest
  - `mcp_url` string, required: The mount capability URL returned when the folder was selected

## Response `204`

The mount is live and owned by this account
