# Read one authorized conversation history page \[read\]

`GET /channels/threads/{id}/messages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1`
- URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1/channels/threads/{id}/messages`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Provider-authorized history or retained SDK cache only. Does not send a turn, persist files, or mark messages seen. An unsupported adapter returns history_unavailable, not an empty success. Reuse next_cursor with the same thread and limit; same-page retries are allowed. Cursors are encrypted and bound to the current caller, installation and thread. Files are metadata only.
