# Read an artifact's private threaded discussion \[read\]

`GET /artifacts/{id}/comments`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1`
- URL: `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1/artifacts/{id}/comments`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns entries in append order, with parent_id null for roots (including historical flat entries). Replies reference an entry in the same artifact and viewed revision. Reading does not publish or start an agent. Public share links do not grant discussion access.
