# Create a new workspace

`POST /api/workspaces`

Creator is auto-added as owner. May fail with 403 if the per-user workspace quota is exceeded.

## Request body

- WorkspaceCreateRequest
  - `name` string, required

## Response `201`

Created

- Workspace
  - `created_at` string, required
  - `id` string, required
  - `name` string, required
  - `updated_at` string, required

## Other responses

- `400` — bad request / empty name
- `403` — workspace quota exceeded
- `500` — internal error
