# Delete Agent

`DELETE /v1/agents/{agent_id}`

## Request

Delete an AI voice agent.

Permanently removes the agent with its calls and transcripts, messages,
conversations, contacts and webhook. Cannot be undone. Phone numbers
assigned to it are detached, not released: they stay active
on your account and can be reassigned to another agent.

Returns {"deleted": true, "agent_id": ...}.

## Path parameters

- `agent_id` string, required: Agent ID (agt_...) returned by create_agent or list_agents.
