# Delete Contact

`DELETE /v1/agents/{agent_id}/contacts/{contact_id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Remove a contact from an agent's contact list.

Permanently deletes the contact; it cannot be restored, only saved again
with create_contact. Calls, messages and transcripts with that number
are not affected. Returns {"deleted": true, "contact_id", "agent_id"}, or
HTTP 404 if the agent has no contact with that ID.

## Path parameters

- `agent_id` string, required: ID (agt_...) of the agent whose contact list to use, from create_agent or list_agents.
- `contact_id` string, required: Contact ID (con_...) from create_contact or list_contacts.
