# Update monitoring agent

`PATCH /watches/{id}`

Update an agent's name, description, quality threshold, required terms, or lens assignment. Changing name/description retrains what the agent watches for and triggers re-matching.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string: New agent name
  - `description` string: New agent description
  - `lensId` string, uuid, nullable: Assign a lens by ID, or null to remove
  - `matchQualityThreshold` integer: Minimum match quality (33-100, default 45)
  - `requiredTerms` string[]: Must-include terms. Pass [] to clear.
