# Rotate a webhook’s signing secret

`POST /v1/webhooks/{id}/rotate-secret`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

`{ secret? }`: replaces the signing secret with yours (16–256 characters) or a generated one, and returns it once. See [Rotate the secret](https://agentboxd.com/docs/webhooks#rotate-the-secret).

Permission: `webhooks:manage`.
