# Remove a suppressed address

`DELETE /v1/suppressions/{address}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes the address from your list, so you can write to it again → the removed row. A bounce or complaint needs `?confirm=true` (`409 confirmation_required` otherwise): sending again to an address that bounced or complained hurts your deliverability and can get sending paused. `404` when it isn’t on your list. Emits `suppression.removed` (who removed what). `contacts:write`, workspace-wide keys only.

Permission: `contacts:write`.
