# Wait for a verification code or magic link

`GET /v1/inboxes/{id}/verification`

## Request

Long-poll for a login code or magic link. `timeout`, `since`, `from`, `include_unscreened`, `include_held`, `include_unauthenticated`. Returns the newest matching message’s code, link, confidence and `auth_failed`, or null. A code or link from mail whose sender failed authentication (DMARC, or SPF without an aligned DKIM pass) is skipped unless `include_unauthenticated=true`. In a screening workspace a code or link from held or unscreened mail is not returned unless asked for.

Permission: `messages:read`.
