# Forward a message

`POST /v1/inboxes/{id}/messages/{messageId}/forward`

## Request

`{ to, cc?, bcc?, text?, html?, include_attachments?, labels? }`. Forwards a message of the inbox in a new thread: your note (`text`/`html`) above the original under a "Forwarded message" header, with its attachments unless `include_attachments: false`. Send limits and checks apply as for a send; `Idempotency-Key` works.

Permission: `messages:send`.
