# Add a forwarding address

`POST /v1/inboxes/{id}/forwarding`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentboxd.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

`{ address, skip_flagged? }` → `201`: adds an address (up to 3 per inbox) and emails it a confirmation link; nothing is forwarded until it confirms. Needs `inboxes:write` and `messages:send`. `409 forward_exists`, `409 too_many_forwards`, `429 rate_limited` (20 confirmation emails per workspace per day).

Permission: `inboxes:write`.
