# Create a draft

`POST /v1/inboxes/{id}/drafts`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

`{ to?, cc?, bcc?, subject?, text?, html?, attachments?, metadata?, labels?, reply_to_message_id?, thread_id?, reply_all?, send_at? }`. Everything is optional. With `reply_to_message_id` (or `thread_id`: its latest message) recipients and the `Re:` subject are filled like a reply. 201 with the draft. Needs `drafts:write`, plus `messages:send` when `send_at` is set.

Permission: `drafts:write`.
