# Revoke the agent card

`POST /v1/inboxes/{id}/agent/revoke`

## Request

`{ reason? }` (up to 500 characters). The agent stops signing its agent messages (recipients see `agent.verified: false`, `reason: "revoked"`) and directory verify answers `revoked`. Mail keeps flowing both ways. Idempotent. Emits `agent.revoked`.

Permission: `directory:write`.
