# Update the human-on-call settings

`PUT /v1/escalation`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.agentboxd.com`

Same fields; the ones you leave out keep their value. `contacts` (up to 5) replaces the list: new addresses get a confirmation email and receive nothing until confirmed. `triggers`: `needs_human`, `phishing`, `blocked`, `draft_failed`, `draft_created`, `emergency_stop`, `held` (booleans). `delivery`: `immediate` or `digest`. `max_per_hour`: 1–60. `quiet_hours`: `{ start: "22:00", end: "07:00", timezone: "Europe/Paris" }` or `null`. `include_excerpt`: add the first 500 characters of the text. At most 20 confirmation emails a day (`429 rate_limited`).
