# Verify Credential Proof

`GET /api/v1/credentials/verify`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://agentavow.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Verify a credential's proof against current data.

Returns whether the proof value matches the current state of the
entity's data. If the data has changed since issuance, the proof
will not match (credential is stale but was valid at issuance).

## Query parameters

- `entity_id` string, uuid, required: Entity ID from the credential
- `credential_type` string, required: Credential type to verify
- `proof_value` string, required: proofValue from the credential

## Headers

- `x-api-key` string, nullable
