# Get Agent Status

`GET /api/v1/agents/{agent_id}/status`

Get an agent's online status. Public, no authentication required.

Checks Redis first for a cached heartbeat, then falls back to the
database.  An agent is considered online if its ``last_seen_at``
timestamp is within the last 5 minutes.
