# Discover Mcp Server Instance Tools

`POST /v1/workspaces/{workspace}/mcp-server-instances/{instance_id}/discover-tools`

Re-discover the tools exposed by an MCP server instance.

Re-runs verification (which calls list_tools on the server using any
OAuth/API-key credentials linked via auth_config_id) and persists the
refreshed tool list. Returns {tools, verification}.

## Path parameters

- `instance_id` string, uuid, required
- `workspace` string, required — Slug of the workspace the request acts in
