# Patch Provider Config

`PATCH /v1/provider-configs/{config_id}`

Partially update a provider configuration.

## Path parameters

- `config_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ProviderConfigUpdate — Patch payload for an existing provider configuration. Unset = unchanged.
  - `api_key` string, nullable — New API key. Replaces the previously stored secret. Send an empty string to clear the key for keyless custom endpoints.
  - `api_key_secret_id` string, uuid, nullable — Point this configuration at an existing workspace secret instead. Mutually exclusive with api_key.
  - `description` string, nullable — New description for the configuration.
  - `endpoint_url` string, nullable — New endpoint URL, or empty string to clear.
  - `is_active` boolean, nullable — Activate or deactivate the configuration.
  - `is_public` boolean, nullable — Toggle workspace-wide visibility.
  - `name` string, nullable — New human-readable label for the configuration.
