# Validate Instance Spec

`POST /v1/mcp-server-instances/validate`

Stateless spec validation. For type=url, probes with list_tools (3s budget).

## Request body

- ValidateRequest
  - `endpoint_url` string, nullable — For type=url: the MCP endpoint URL
  - `headers` object
  - `name` string, nullable
  - `type` string, required — Instance type: url, docker, command

## Response `200`
