# Update an Agent

`PUT /api/v2/agents/{agentID}/Status`

Updates the status of an Agent.The body of the PUT is the updated Agent status.  When successful,
            the response is empty.If unsuccessful, an appropriate ApiError is returned.

## Path parameters

- `agentID` integer, required

## Request body

- BuildSystemSharedDTOAgentStatus: A DTO for an IAgentStatus
  - `Online` boolean, required: Indicates if the agent is online
  - `LastStatusUpdate` string, date-time: ReadOnly. The UTC date and time of the last status update

## Response `204`
