# Delete customer by ID

`DELETE /api/v1/customer/{customerId}`

Deletes a specific customer by their unique identifier.

## Path parameters

- `customerId` string, required

## Response `200`

Customer deleted successfully.

  - `data` object, nullable: Omitted on success. The response body is an empty object.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid customer ID format.
- `401`: Unauthorized.
- `404`: Customer not found.
- `500`: Server error.
- `503`: Temporarily unavailable: an upstream service failed or timed out, or the API is momentarily offline. Retry with backoff and honour the Retry-After header when present.
