# Send a test event now. Compliance plan

`POST /v1/webhooks/{id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.africacompliancedata.com`
- URL: `https://api.africacompliancedata.com/v1/webhooks/{id}/test`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Delivers a 'test' event immediately (one attempt; at most 5 tests per minute per key, then 429) and returns the HTTP status your URL answered, or the network error.

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Delivery result

- object
  - `sent` string: Event id (evt_test_...)
  - `status` union: HTTP status of your endpoint, or 'error: ...'
    - integer
    - string

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Needs the Compliance plan: finance-law digests and webhooks (or the key is paused for review)
- `404`: Unknown country, path or webhook id
- `429`: At most 5 test deliveries per minute per key, or the plan rate limit, or key checks busy (many new keys from your network); see Retry-After
- `503`: Key check temporarily unavailable, or webhook storage unavailable (webhook endpoints); retry after Retry-After seconds
