# Consume a carrier

`POST /v1/carriers/{id}/consume`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.affix-io.com`
- URL: `https://api.affix-io.com/v1/carriers/{id}/consume`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Mark one of your carriers as used. Only the API key that issued the carrier can consume it.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Consumed.

## Other responses

- `401`: API key missing or not accepted.
- `404`: carrier_not_found, or not issued by this API key.
