# Verify an agent credential

`POST /v1/agent-trust/verify`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.affix-io.com`

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Verify an AffixIO agent-trust credential and return its current scope, subject and expiry state (POST /v1/agent-trust/verify).

Success (JSON).

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request.
- `401`: API key missing or not accepted.
- `409`: Conflict, e.g. double_spend_detected on a spent proof.
- `429`: Rate limited; see Retry-After.
