# Get Investor-Executive Inferred Connections

Returns investor-executive inferred connections, grouped by the target person, strongest first.

A connection is the belief that a `source` (a person in your Affinity data, with an `id`, whom you know) might know a `target` (a person not in your Affinity data, described only, whom you want to know). In this connection type the source is an investor and the target is an executive: the source invested in a company where the target was an executive.

The same target can be reachable through several people you know. Connections are grouped by target: each item in `data` is one target together with the `connections` to them. Within a target, connections are ordered by `confidence` descending; targets are ordered by their strongest connection, strongest first.

Each `target` carries the company they work at **today** in `target.currentCompany`: the company at which they are a potential contact now, which is not necessarily the company involved in the investment.

The `filter` parameter is required and must contain at least one filter. The only currently supported filter is `target.currentCompany.id`, which narrows the targets to a single such company.

## Filters

- InvestorExecutiveConnectionGroupsPaged: A paginated list of investor-executive connections grouped by target person. Each item is one target and the connections inferred to them.
  - `data` InvestorExecutiveConnectionGroup[], required: A page of targets, each with the connections to them, ordered by each target's strongest connection (strongest first).
    - `target` InferredConnectionTarget, required: The `target` of an inferred connection: the person who is not in your Affinity data, described only (no `id`). Includes the company they currently work at, where they are a potential contact now.
      - `firstName` string, nullable, required: The person's first name, or `null` when not known.
      - `lastName` string, nullable, required: The person's last name, or `null` when not known.
      - `title` string, nullable, required: The person's current job title, or `null` when not known.
      - `linkedinUrl` string, nullable, required: A link to the person's LinkedIn profile, or `null` when not known.
      - `currentCompany` InferredConnectionCompanyRef, required: A reference to a company that appears in an inferred connection.
        - `id` integer, required: The company's unique identifier.
        - `name` string, nullable, required: The company's name.
        - `domain` string, nullable, required: The company's primary domain, or `null` when not known.
    - `connections` InvestorExecutiveConnection[], required: The connections to this target, ordered by `confidence` descending.
      - `confidence` number, float, required: How strongly the connection is believed, from `0` to `1`. A higher value is stronger.
      - `source` RelationshipPerson, required: A person involved in a relationship, including basic identifying information.
        - `id` integer, required: The person's unique identifier
        - `firstName` string, nullable, required: The person's first name
        - `lastName` string, nullable, required: The person's last name
        - `primaryEmailAddress` string, email, nullable, required: The person's primary email address
      - `inference` InvestorExecutiveInference, required: The belief that the source invested in a company where the target was an executive. The `investingFirm` is the firm the source invested through, when known; the `portfolioCompany` is the company the target was an executive at.
        - `investingFirm` InferredConnectionCompanyRef, required: A reference to a company that appears in an inferred connection.
          - `id` integer, required: The company's unique identifier.
          - `name` string, nullable, required: The company's name.
          - `domain` string, nullable, required: The company's primary domain, or `null` when not known.
        - `portfolioCompany` InferredConnectionCompanyRef, required: A reference to a company that appears in an inferred connection.
          - `id` integer, required: The company's unique identifier.
          - `name` string, nullable, required: The company's name.
          - `domain` string, nullable, required: The company's primary domain, or `null` when not known.
      - `dealContext` DealContext, required: The deal that ties the source and target together: the funding round, the source's role as the investor, and the target's role as the executive at the company that was funded.
        - `fundingEvent` DealFundingEvent, required: The funding round behind the connection: when it happened and its size.
          - `date` string, date, required: The date the funding round took place.
          - `series` string, nullable, required: The funding round's series, or `null` when not known.
          - `amount` number, float, nullable, required: The amount raised in the round, in `currencyCode`, or `null` when not known.
          - `currencyCode` string, nullable, required: The ISO 4217 currency code for `amount`, or `null` when not known.
        - `investor` DealMemberRole, required: A party's role in the deal: their title and tenure at the `company` involved. For the investor this is the investing firm; for the executive it is the company they led.
          - `title` string, nullable, required: The person's title in the role, or `null` when not known.
          - `startDate` string, date, required: The date the person started the role.
          - `endDate` string, date, nullable, required: The date the person left the role, or `null` when they are still in it.
          - `company` InferredConnectionCompanyRef, required: A reference to a company that appears in an inferred connection.
            - `id` integer, required: The company's unique identifier.
            - `name` string, nullable, required: The company's name.
            - `domain` string, nullable, required: The company's primary domain, or `null` when not known.
        - `executive` DealMemberRole, required: A party's role in the deal: their title and tenure at the `company` involved. For the investor this is the investing firm; for the executive it is the company they led.
