# Delete a link

`DELETE /v1/links/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.affiliaterail.com`
- URL: `https://api.affiliaterail.com/v1/links/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The link stops being listed and cannot be retrieved again. The URL itself keeps redirecting for anyone still holding it, and its click history stays grouped under it, because deleting a link a partner has already published would break a promise they made to their own audience.

**Scope:** `partners:write` (or `write`)

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or unknown API key
- `403`: Key lacks the required scope
- `404`: No such object in your organization
