# Save prospects

`POST /v1/finder/prospects/save`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.affiliaterail.com`
- URL: `https://api.affiliaterail.com/v1/finder/prospects/save`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Free: saving never spends a credit. Each newly saved prospect gets a deal from the brand's default offer; with no offer yet, `needs_offer` is true.

**Scope:** `finder:write`

## Request body

- FinderProspectSave
  - `ids` string[], required: 1 to 100 prospect ids
  - `list_id` string: Also put them on this list

## Response `200`

What was saved

- FinderSaveResult
  - `object` 'finder_save_result', required
  - `saved` string[], required: The ids that weren't saved before this call
  - `needs_offer` boolean, required: True when the brand has no default offer yet, so these have no deal until one is written

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or unknown API key
- `402`: The organization's Recruit Affiliates plan does not include the API
- `403`: Key lacks the required scope
- `404`: No such object in your organization
- `409`: In conflict with the object's state, or the same idempotent request is still running
- `422`: The request was understood and refused
- `429`: Rate limited, by key or by organization: see Retry-After and X-RateLimit-Scope
- `501`: Not available to a test key (`sandbox_no_send`)
