# Approve an application

`POST /v1/applications/{id}/approve`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.affiliaterail.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

The partner becomes active, the reviewer and time are recorded, `application.approved` and `affiliate.confirmed` fire, and the applicant gets the approval email with your overrides and sending domain. Refused when the application was already decided, or when your plan's revenue meter blocks new approvals.

**Scope:** `partners:write` (or `write`)
