# Disable an existing permit.

`POST /disablePermit`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://pal-test.adyen.com/pal/servlet/Recurring/v67`
- URL: `https://pal-test.adyen.com/pal/servlet/Recurring/v67/disablePermit`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Disable a permit that was previously linked to a recurringDetailReference.

## Request body

- DisablePermitRequest
  - `merchantAccount` string, required: The merchant account identifier, with which you want to process the transaction.
  - `token` string, required: The permit token to disable.

## Response `200`

OK - the request has succeeded.

- DisablePermitResult
  - `pspReference` string: A unique reference associated with the request. This value is globally unique; quote it when communicating with us about this request.
  - `status` string: Status of the disable request.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - a problem reading or understanding the request.
- `401`: Unauthorized - authentication required.
- `403`: Forbidden - insufficient permissions to process the request.
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity - a request validation error.
- `500`: Internal Server Error - the server could not process the request.
