# Sign PCI questionnaire

`POST /legalEntities/{id}/pciQuestionnaires/signPciTemplates`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://kyc-test.adyen.com/lem/v1`
- URL: `https://kyc-test.adyen.com/lem/v1/legalEntities/{id}/pciQuestionnaires/signPciTemplates`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Signs the required PCI questionnaire.

Requests to this endpoint are subject to rate limits:

- Live environments: 700 requests per 5 seconds.

- Test environments: 200 requests per 5 seconds.

- Failed requests are subject to a limit of 5 failures per 10 seconds.

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- PciSigningRequest
  - `pciTemplateReferences` string[], required: The array of Adyen-generated unique identifiers for the questionnaires.
  - `signedBy` string, required: The [legal entity ID](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/#/legalentity/latest/post/legalEntities__resParam_id) of the individual who signs the PCI questionnaire.

## Response `200`

OK - the request has succeeded.

- PciSigningResponse
  - `pciQuestionnaireIds` string[]: The unique identifiers of the signed PCI documents.
  - `signedBy` string: The [legal entity ID](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/#/legalentity/latest/post/legalEntities__resParam_id) of the individual who signed the PCI questionnaire.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - a problem reading or understanding the request.
- `401`: Unauthorized - authentication required.
- `403`: Forbidden - insufficient permissions to process the request.
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity - a request validation error.
- `500`: Internal Server Error - the server could not process the request.
