# Initiate Chat Attachment

`POST /api/chat/attachments`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.advisorppc.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.advisorppc.com/api/chat/attachments`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Reserved upload contract, disabled until its security rail is real.

Parsing still enforces the public filename, MIME, size, and digest bounds.
No metadata row is created and no client bytes are accepted.

- `X-Tenant-Id` integer, nullable

## Request body

- ChatAttachmentUploadIn: Future upload-initiation shape. The endpoint is intentionally unavailable until durable object storage and content inspection are configured. ``sha256`` is only a client declaration; a future ingestion worker must calculate and store the verified digest.
  - `fileName` string, required
  - `mimeType` string, required
  - `byteSize` integer, required
  - `sha256` string, required

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- ChatAttachmentUploadOut: Reserved success shape for a future enabled upload-initiation rail.
  - `assetId` string, required

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
- `503`: Upload initiation is disabled until durable storage and content inspection are configured.
