# Submit a Custom Script

`POST /run-scripts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://illustrator-api.adobe.io`
- URL: `https://illustrator-api.adobe.io/run-scripts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-api-key`

Submits Custom Script bundles for registration. Returns a URL for posting execution requests for the registered script.

## Request body `multipart/form-data`

- object: The custom script bundle, in ZIP format.
  - `file` string, binary, required: The custom script bundle, in ZIP format. Required contents: `script.jsx` (ExtendScript with `main()` entry point) and `manifest.json` (capability metadata).

## Response `202`

Accepted

- CapabilityRegistrationResponse: Response after a successful custom script submit. The `url` is the base URL to use for **Submit a custom script execution request** (append path segments or use it as the execute endpoint, depending on the value returned).
  - `url` string, required: Base URL for posting custom script execution requests.
  - `capability` string, required: Registered custom script or capability name (from `manifest.json`).
  - `version` string, required: Registered capability version string.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Requested Resource Was Not Found
- `500`: Internal Server Error
