# Reset the collection preferences for a recurring invoice

`DELETE /schedules/invoices/{recurringInvoiceId}/collection_preferences`

## Request

Resets how collection is set up for the invoices this recurring invoice raises. Clears every override, not only these settings, including any set by Adfin or in the Adfin app. To turn a single setting off, PATCH it with an `enabled` of `false` instead.

## Path parameters

- `recurringInvoiceId` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

The overrides held against the recurring invoice are cleared. A recurring invoice that holds none is left as it is.

## Other responses

- `400`: The identifier in the path is not a valid UUID.
- `401`: The request carried no valid access token.
- `403`: The access token does not grant updating schedules.
- `404`: There is no recurring invoice with that identifier.
- `500`: The server could not process the request.
