# Reset the collection preferences for a payment request

`DELETE /payment_requests/{paymentRequestId}/collection_preferences`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.adfin.com/api`
- URL: `https://api.adfin.com/api/payment_requests/{paymentRequestId}/collection_preferences`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://api.staging.adfin.com/api/oauth2/token`

    - Token URL: `https://api.adfin.com/api/oauth2/token`

Clears every override, not only these settings, including any set by Adfin or in the Adfin app. To turn a single setting off, PATCH it with an `enabled` of `false` instead. A pause set with `:pause_collection` survives.

## Path parameters

- `paymentRequestId` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

The overrides held against the payment request are cleared. A payment request that holds none is left as it is.

## Other responses

- `400`: The identifier in the path is not a valid UUID.
- `401`: The request carried no valid access token.
- `403`: The access token does not grant updating payment requests.
- `404`: There is no payment request with that identifier.
- `500`: The server could not process the request.
