# Turn on auto-renew

`POST /api/billing/wix-turn-auto-renew-on`

## Request

Turns automatic renewal back on for a Wix-billed plan that's set to end at the close of its billing period. Only the workspace owner can turn it on. Calling it on a plan that already renews changes nothing.

<Warning>This takes effect right away, with no confirmation step. Nothing is charged now, but the plan renews on its renewal date again, and that renewal charges the saved payment method.</Warning>

This works only for workspaces billed through Wix. For a Stripe-billed workspace, use [Reactivate subscription](/api-reference/reactivate-subscription). To cancel again, use [Cancel subscription](/api-reference/cancel-subscription).

The base rate limit is 5 requests per hour per user. See [Rate limits](/developers/references/apps-api/get-started/rate-limits) for the multiplier your plan gets.

## Response `200`

Auto-renew is on.

- BillingActionResult: Confirms the change is applied.
  - `success` boolean, required: Always `true`. A failure returns an error status instead.

## Other responses

- `400`: The workspace isn't billed through Wix, or has no Wix billing account.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials. A read-only token gets this response too.
- `403`: You aren't the workspace owner, or a payment dispute is open on the workspace.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. The base rate limit is 5 requests per hour per user. See [Rate limits](/developers/references/apps-api/get-started/rate-limits) for the multiplier your plan gets.
